Many of you have expressed interest in this trip over the past few years\, and I’m so happy to include it this year.\nIt’s likely you already know the fanciful\, fantastical Christmas Eve story and Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable melodies—but it’s certain that no NYC holiday season is complete without seeing choreographer George Balanchine’s confection come to life. The glittering classic\, performed annually by the New York City Ballet since 1954\, has become one of the City’s signature family-friendly traditions. Expect to warm your spirits with visions of the Sugarplum Fairy dancing in your head. The production features elaborate sets\, including a towering Christmas tree\, and dazzling costumes. The show Includes all 90 dancers from the New York City Ballet\, 62 musicians\, and over 125 children from the School of American Ballet.\n\nThe trip includes:Round-trip transportation\, you are welcome to bring drinks and snacks on the bus.\nShow ticket (in mezzanine\, 3rd ring).\n**Tickets are limited\, so book soon!**\nHere are the details for the tour:* 10:30-11:30 AM:** Depart from Brotherhood Plaza\, Washingtonville.(I will be taking a poll to determine interest in going into the city early to eat before the show; I need to look at options.)* 2:00 PM:** The Nutcracker performance.* Approx. 4:00 PM:** Depart from NYC.* Approx. 5:30 PM:** Arrive back in Washingtonville.\nThe cost is $271 per guest (Adult/Child)\nPlease note:* A minimum number of guests is required for this trip to proceed.
